The Carindale Busway Station is a proposed bus stop at Carindale in Brisbane, Australia. The station will be a major stop serviced by TransLink routes travelling on the proposed Eastern Busway. The station will be in Zone 3 of the Translink integrated public transport system.

Development

The station is proposed to be built next to Westfield Carindale shopping centre on vacant land at the intersection of Old Cleveland Road and Creek Road. Previously, the station was proposed to be constructed underneath the existing Millennium Boulevard. However, the new proposed location allows the station to be constructed with minimal impact on existing buildings, businesses and infrastructure. The busway is proposed to pass beneath Creek Road instead of via an overpass and will feature bus access points on Old Cleveland Road, Carindale Street, Creek Road and Millennium Boulevard. Unlike other existing busway stations, the Carindale Busway Station is proposed to have 4 platforms, 2 for dedicated Eastern busway services with an additional 2 platforms for local services.[1]

The station will complement the existing Carindale Bus Station.

No date has been set for construction of the Carindale station, however it has been identified as a priority section of the Eastern Busway.[1]
